Group Therapy & Workshops
Group therapy sessions are designed for the clients to interact and engage using the creative process in a group setting to address a wide range of personal issues. The group therapy process can help facilitate creative connection and a sense of belonging.
Dandelion Art Studio offers art therapy sessions in a relaxing, non-judgmental studio space. In session, clients use the creative process, art materials, and artwork to address issues and conflicts within their lives, explore their emotions, increase self-awareness and self-esteem, develop healthy coping skills, and reduce anxiety.
Our approach to the therapeutic process is based on creating a healthy, non-judgmental relationship valued on authenticity, compassion and creativity. Trained as art therapists and counselors, the team uses a range of modalities to tailor the therapy to the needs of each individual. Sessions are offered for youth, teens and adults. Art therapy sessions are typically 45-60 minutes in length.
To benefit from art therapy you do not need to be an artist!
